Windit ist eine Befestigung an Rucksäcken, die eine Lücke zwischen der Tasche und dem Träger schafft. Der Spalt lässt den Körper atmen und verhindert, dass sich Schweißflecken auf dem Rücken bilden.
Windit ist mit Standard-Tagesrucksäcken zwischen 16 und 26 Litern kompatibel.
Dieses Rucksackzubehör lässt sich mit verstellbaren Schnallen einfach um die Schultergurte der Tasche befestigen und sorgt so für einen festen Sitz an jedem Rucksack.

Beim Tragen in horizontaler/gelehnter Position: <3 KG
Abhängig von der Größe des Rucksacks und dem Winkel, in den Sie sich lehnen, lastet der Rucksack auf den „Rückengurten“ von Windit.
Dadurch wird der Abstand zwischen Ihnen und Ihrem Rucksack minimiert.
Hinweis: Bei Fahrten, die diese Gewichtskapazitäten überschreiten gelingt es dem Windit nicht den nötigen Abstand zwischen Rucksack und Rücken zu erhalten, um volle Funktionsfähigkeit zu gewährleisten.

How to attach Windit?
Materials & Recycling
The creation of Windit
Start by turning the side that has straps going down Windit towards your backpack. The soft side shall be lying against your back when you want to wear your backpack.
Windit is attached to your backpack with the 4 buckles.
Attach the top buckles around the straps of your own backpack from the underside, and place your own backpack straps over Windit, so that you can easily put your backpack on later.
The last 2 bottom buckles should be attached to the bottom of your backpack straps, to ensure maximum stability.
Windit contains Galvanised steel, Polyester, ABS and Nylon, and must be handled accordingly.
Please, recycle a used Windit at your local recycling center, where it must be handled by local regulations.
We advise separating the fabric from the metal frame, by using the zip to detach it. The metal frame can be discarded in a metal recycling container, which is common to use in most regions/countries. For the sleeve, though all the materials are recyclable, we advise you to contact your local recycling centre to consult if they recycle these specific types of plastic.

How do I know if Windit suits my backpack?
Windit is designed to be universal to all backpacks up to 40cm of length. Typically, that translates to 26L backpacks.
The lenght/volume-ratio depends on the design of your backpack.
To make sure Windit is applicable to your backpack, you should always measure the lenght of you backpack.
If your backpack is longer than 40 cm, Windit can still be attached and used. The functionality will maintain but with its disproportions it might not look and feel as optimal.

Where do I put Windit, when I'm not wearing my backpack?
Keep it on
The minimalistic design and strong attachments allow you to keep Windit attached to your backpack, even when you are not wearing it.
Windit has been designed not to catch attention and will not slide off your backpack.
Can I try it before buying it?
At this point in time, we do not have any physical resellers. That is why we provide free returns.
This way, you can try Windit out for yourself and return it, if it for some reason should not fall to your liking.
Can I clean it?
If needed, the fabric can easily be taken off using the all around zip and be hand washed.
What if Windit does not work for me?
